Little Historians: Ramadan in Our Lives

This session for kids ages 6 to 13 invites children to document their experiences of Ramadan in writing and art. We talk about the role of historians in preserving traditions, practices, and experiences, and about materials and documents that tell us about the past. Children are guided in preserving their own family traditions by documenting them, starting with noting and observing how their family lives Ramadan and how they experience the holy month.
