MOTHERS/WORK September Edition

Kutubna Cultural Center's MOTHERS/WORK program supports women who want to enter the workforce for the first time or who want to return to the workforce after a break to parent small children. Our September edition brings you a series of three interactive workshops conducted by veteran career coach, job search and interview preparation expert, and author of Find The Ladder, Nadeem Lutfullah.

Join these sessions to carve out your future career path. You will learn how to develop a professional resume and gain maximum networking benefits through an optimized LinkedIn profile and targeted engagement techniques.

Session 1: Shape Your Career Future

September 10, 2024

This journey begins with YOU and your unique skill set, your experiences, and your academic background. The success of this session will depend on your participation in highlighting your career goals and exploring the options available to you. Thirty minutes of presentation will be followed by a Q&A session to address your questions. Drawing from the insights of his new book Find The Ladder, the author will take you through the compelling topics covered in its twelve chapters, offering a roadmap and dispelling traditional myths to empower you in making informed decisions for your career. 

Session 2: Resume Power Tools

September 17, 2024

This session will take you through each step of building your own convertible resume that complies 100% with ATS standards. One sample resume from the participants may be selected as an example to review and transform it into a top-class professional document that gets you noticed. Session 3: Targeted Networking and LinkedIn Profile Optimization

During this session, we will discuss your networking purpose and targets, and how to ensure you reach the right people. LinkedIn is a unique social and professional platform, connecting over 950 million professionals worldwide. It is designed to foster career growth, professional networking, and business opportunities. We will go through each step of optimizing your LinkedIn profile.

Nadeem Lutfullah has a career spanning four decades in aviation operations, training, and recruitment. Nadeem’s enduring commitment has always been to motivate and empower individuals, guiding them to discover a profound sense of purpose in their professional lives.
