Date: Sunday, October 27
Time: 5 pm
Registration fee: 250 AED
Create your own notebook using sustainable materials like seeded paper and plant-based leather and learn the art of crafting poems. This workshop is led by Emirati poet Hesa Aldahel and Iranian leather artist Tamanna, and sponsored by Wadi D, the first Emirati plant-based leather, eco-friendly, affordable luxury leather goods brand co-founded by Amna and Hesa Aldahel. The items are designed and manufactured locally. Wadi D is short for Wadi Dahel, which was named after their tribe Al Dahel Al Mheiri. With the objective of saving the environment and changing industry and consumer values, the brand is an ode to their family’s memory.
