The Poetry of Islam

Date: Tuesdays during Ramadan

Time: 11 am 

Registration fee: 40 AED total for parent and child

While children are occupied with sensory play and arts and crafts activities, mothers engage in readings of poetry by Muslims from around the world. Poetry serves as a starting point for discussions about our changing relationships to different parts of our religion, with a focus on finding beauty and inspiration in spiritual practices and beliefs. People of all religions are welcome to participate.
